A few things clients often ask before we begin. If your question isn't here, just reach out.

You can stay in your home environment and start therapy right from your comfort zone.

Call, text, or email for your free consultation. Email is preferred.

I provide 50 to 55 minute weekly sessions. Sometimes I will offer a half session for a check-in or if otherwise warranted.

Nothing good happens on Mondays, so I don’t work that day. I work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and every other Saturday.

Yes, I take Premera and Regence. Combined, they make up Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

Please check with your insurance to make sure I am in network, but I also offer a Benefits & Eligibility (B&E) check before we start working together. Insurance is the most confusing part of this whole process, which is why I have a billing department.

I request 72 hours (3 days) notice of cancellation, otherwise there is a fee of $90 for late cancellations. There is no fee for rescheduling within a few days.

I work with most women and some men and all whatevers, ages 14 to 65.

I was trained in Relational Psychodynamic Narrative therapy and use Lifespan Integration, which is a somatic therapy. Think EMDR, only gentler.

I received a Master’s in Counseling Psychology through The Seattle School.

I interned at Compass Health in Snohomish and worked with at-risk teens through Therapeutic Health Services in South Seattle. I am currently pursuing Certification in Lifespan Integration.

Yes. I am licensed in the state of Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor: LH61416253.

Yes. I may not answer all of them, but you are allowed to ask. It is part of my job to hold professional boundaries around my personal information.

Please be aware that swearing is not only an option, it is welcomed as we work through the tough things in your life. Both crying and swearing release the stress hormones pent up in your body.

Being a “whatever” means anything other than cis-straight. Whatever is a term I adopted for people who don’t fit the norm but aren’t ready to claim their particular queerness.

No, not till you are ready. One of the things I like about Lifespan Integration is that it allows you to hold a level of privacy about your memories until you are ready to share them with me.

Sure. I may not always know what they mean, but they are part of your experience, so yes.

Sometimes I will recommend a book or give homework. But most often I simply request you don’t “dig” into your memories outside of sessions.
