It happened recently, or it happened so long ago you can’t quite remember life before it. Either way, it landed too hard for your system to handle, or too hard for the support you had at the time.
That’s what trauma is.
Your trauma is yours. What overwhelmed you doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else.

And you’re the one living with the fallout. It’s wearing on your sleep. It’s wearing on your ability to get through an ordinary day.
Some people understand what that’s like. Most don’t – and the ones who do are hard to find.
After something overwhelms you, your body goes on high alert to keep the same thing from ever happening again.
That made good sense in the moment it learned to do it. Now, it’s exhausting to live inside of your body.
Big emotions can be scary, but they don’t have to be. With me, you can come apart, and I won’t flinch or hurry you to put yourself back together. That kind of company is most of the work.
I can help your system settle, so it stops treating an ordinary Tuesday like an emergency. Some of that work is somatic – telling your body at a level deeper than talk that the danger is over.
Whether the trauma came from narcissistic abuse, a divorce that took apart who you thought you were, or something you’ve carried since childhood, I work with what’s sitting underneath the symptoms.
If you’re tired of just talking about it and want something that reaches the body, this is the work I do. And when the hard thing isn’t over yet, having someone present walk through it with you makes the experience less traumatic, even before anything else changes.

You sleep through more nights than you don’t. Daily life stops feeling like a threat to manage and starts feeling like yours again.
You’re present where you actually are, instead of half here and half back in what happened.
You and your body don’t have to keep watching for a danger that’s already come and gone.
